Instructions:

  1. Read each policy listed below.
  2. After you understand each policy, click to place an "X" in the box at the end of each sentence. If you do not understand something, ask Mr. Randall to explain it before you put an "X" in the box.
  3. Save as "Your First and Last Name" in the "Computer Class Policies" network folder.

  1. Always come to class prepared with the following items:

     a. Notebook or paper.

     b. Pen or pencil.

     c. All previous notes taken for that quarter.

  2. If you are absent or tardy, it is your responsibility to get the notes and/or assignment from another student or teacher the next day you are in school (not by next class).

  3. Your computer grade is made up of participation, typing accuracy (with hands on the “home keys”), quizzes, tests, and projects.

  4. You may only use a computer with the permission of a teacher and never in a room by yourself.

  5. Always log on to a computer with only your user name and password; never use another person’s.

  6. Save your work in your folder on the network, not on the local machine you are working on. Do not try to open any other folders except your own or one that a teacher asks you to.

  7. Do not install or download anything without asking a teacher first.

  8. The Internet is to be used for research and class projects only. If you accidentally come across something that is not appropriate, immediately close that window or turn the monitor off, then let a teacher know right away.

  9. Always ask a teacher if it is O.K. to print something and only after you have gone to “print preview” yourself to see if everything is the way you would like it to be.
  10. If you do not understand something that is covered in class, ask Mr. Randall during or immediately after class to further explain it (do not wait to the day of a project or test to ask).
  11. Raise your hand and wait to be called on before talking
  12. Treat the computers with respect.

By clicking and placing an "X" in the box at the end of this sentence, you are acknowledging that you have read, understand, and agree to follow the policies listed above.
