Technology
Acceptable Use Policy
Staff
Remote Access Agreement Form
Trinity
Lutheran Church & School
Elkhart,
IN
Trinity
has attempted to make access to informational technologies convenient for all
staff members. One of the ways that
these technologies can be accessed is through the use of remote control of
computers on Trinity's
campus from other locations. In
order to provide secure and consistent access to the computers on campus, users
of Trinity's remote access service need to be aware of
and adhere to the following policies while on staff at Trinity and using remote
access services.
6.
All programs, computer settings, and passwords need to be installed and
assigned by the technology specialist. Staff
members should not remove, install, or change these items in any way.
7.
Staff members must be trained by the technology specialist on the use the
remote control software prior to installation and use.
8.
I will notify the computer specialist if a problem occurs in the software
and the remote fails to function properly.
9.
I understand that all software used is licensed to Trinity Lutheran
Church and School and will be removed from my computer if my employment at
Trinity is terminated.
10.
Remote access is designed to be a means of connecting remote computers to
the computers at Trinity when it is not possible to physically access computers
on campus. Staff members need to
use their best judgment in using this service as it causes an increase in
network traffic and could cause a decrease in performance for all users if
abused.
11.
A staff member that fails to follow the remote access policy could lose
remote access services to Trinity's
computer network.
